“Distortions of the Past; Collaborations for the Future” is a series of geometric collages by Vancouver-based artist Randy Grskovic. The project consists of cut up vintage found photographs from flea markets and antique stores that have been reassembled. Randy says of his work, “I sift through the images and find the ones that emotionally appeal to me. I quickly scan and grab them intuitively. When I sit down to cut them up I stare at them for a long time and really consider the images. I think about the past and the present and how they relate to the future. I make some stylistic cuts depending on the mood that the image projects to me, which is essentially a projection of myself onto the image.”
From the brilliant series “Where Children Sleep” by James Mollison.

THUNDERPAW PAGE 19-ish
Here it is, a very large update and the end of Chapter 1 The Brightest Night
or start from the beginning to eat up the entire chapter in one sitting.
Thanks to my twitter buds who took the time to see if such a huge .gif worked. Turns out it’s a little wonky on Chrome, I have no idea why! Special thanks to Jeremy for composing that “trailer” comic for this chapter. The next chapter is called Pinemeade Heights and there will be jock wolves. Smell you later, nerds.
